Diana Taurasi added another record to her incredible resume when she became the first WNBA player to score 30 points in a game at 40-years-old or older, per ESPN Sports and Info.

Taurasi is the first player in combined WNBA and NBA history to score 30 at 40 since Michael Jordan and Dirk Nowitzki. The W’s all-time leader in scoring turned 40 on June 11, and through her 17 regular-season appearances since, she has averaged 18.5 points per game.
Last season, Taurasi became the first player to score 9,000 career points. Through the 501 games she’s played, she scored 9,681 total points. The three-time WNBA champion has averaged 17.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game on 38.0 percent shooting from the field and 34.2 percent from beyond the arc. Taurasi is in the final year of a multi-year extension in 2021.
