The news of Kobe Bryant‘s retirement has been one of the major storylines of the 2015-16 NBA season. And the handful of people Kobe told before he made the news public has begun to trickle out.
Perhaps the funniest is the way Kobe broke the news to Lakers head coach Byron Scott. According to Kobe, it happened in the middle of a game, and he left Scott “in shock” until after the game, when he confirmed the news again to his coach.
