Pryor Two

SLAM 115: Maybe Terrelle Pryor should’ve played hoops instead.

You’ve probably seen the news about Jim Tressel by now (ESPN certainly gorged on it yesterday). A big part of the controversy is “benefits” that Ohio State quarterback Terrell Pryor has received during his mercurial career in Columbus. Well, how many of you remember that Terrelle was recruited almost as heavily in basketball as he was in football? Read our SLAM 115 story below and remember, basketball is always safer than football.—Ed.

I was actually thinking that same thing yesterday when the Tressel resigned. Pryor probably would have been a nice 2guard.

Buck the *uckeyes…glad to see Tressel’s cheating *ss out of there. Any college team can be good if you’re paying the players. I hope they take thier national title away.

Definitely a very good two guard. Probably like alum Jim Jackson. A powerful shooting guard, but Pryor would probably be much more explosive, also. I could see him posting up, slashing, and shooting 3s with ease. Also, a great defender with ability to chase point guards and rebound with the forwards/centers.

Very overrated too…great athelete, but not a very good decision maker.
