Video: Behind the Scenes – Heat at Pistons

Your all-access pass into the Palace.

There’s nothing like writing and reporting on an NBA game… but to be able to bring that text to life with video is even better!

Game Notes may be the coldest game reviews on the ‘Net, but if you could really see what we see behind-the-scenes wouldn’t that be magical? This is why I wanted to enhance SLAMonline and show the editing skills that I’ve learning at my internship this semester.

Take a trip with me to last Sunday’s game when the Detroit Pistons hosted the Miami Heat. Make sure you watch the end when I became the first to do something for Dwyane Wade…

Good look on the video, Eric! Combine this with your Game Notes from earlier this week, and you have the entire experience. Thanks for the interview with The Legend.

OMG! That was dope ‘Woody’ (BET is right)!
Ryne- remember aggess ago we talked about getting a camera into the game? Brilliant stuff. Awesome!
Woody that was greatness to the power of great. The music was kinda irritating when trying to listen to Mark Jackson talk, maybe toning (sp?) it down would have a better effect.
Either way, a new landmark for the site. Brilliant stuff.

Hursty, we’re slowly making some of those ideas happen! Not all teams have the same policies, but I’m glad the Pistons were cool about it.

Thanks for all the love! I really wanted to set myself apart from everyone else and I hope I was able to do that. I just hope I can keep improving.

I appreciate all of the comments and the nickname BET…lol

Hursty-I tried to tone it down as much as I could while keeping the music but I will keep what you said in mind.
