Video: Quincy Miller-Best Player in Sr. Class

Not only did Quincy Miller justify his place atop SLAMonline’s Class of 2011 rankings this past week at the Nike EYBL tournament, he flat out disrespected his competition. Miller dropped 30+ in every game he played out in Los Angeles, including a 34-point (12-14 shooting) effort against the Arkansas Wings. As you’ll see, he gets buckets a million different ways. Most NBA ready prospect in his class.

Nice highlights, but why say he’s the most NBA ready player? To me, those highlights definitely prove the fact that if you’re comparing him to being NBA ready, he would get eaten alive in the league. Just let these kids grow at their own pace.

@fat lever; completely agree; he could be great at SOME point but no he would get in the Angolan League let alone the NBA

Form on his jumper looks a little awkward. Some time with a shooting coach good do him a lot of good.

his form looks kinda like durant’s. but he doesn’t look 6’9? not towering over the high school kids. seriously tho, dunking over high school kids doesn’t show me much of his game. show some more shots off crossovers, long 3′s, scoring when they get fouled, and some more offensive moves!

He is not the most NBA ready, and not the best player. I saw him play against Dezmine Wells, and he could do nothing. I also saw him back away from Dezmine Wells and was afraid to guard him, to me that doesnt make you the best or ready for the NBA.

i like his passing, his crossover, nd his combination of the crossover and step back jumper…. However i need to see some solid 3pt shooting, evidence of a strong midrange game and some more finishing in heavy traffic if im going to believe any comparison to Durantula. Some perimeter and post defensive looks would be nice as well.

Uhhh…I don’t know, his team is still a losing team. Dropping 30+ for a team that won three games in three 5 game events doesn’t impress me as much as a Brad Beal, who scores almost as much but for a team that lost one game in the entire EYBL.
