For Old Time’s Sake: Stack Bundles

J Stack was the man at UNC, in Philitown (before AI), and Detroit. He was one of the best scorers in the league from ’95 through the earlier part of the decade and a fan favorite. Featured on issue 49 as a member of the Pistons, Stack averaged just a shade under 30 pts/game in the ’00-’01 season. His greatest highlight was probably that reverse dunk against the Dukeies but he had had plenty of great moments in the league. A true veteran, Stack has been in the league over 15 years and may continue this upcoming season. Peep the highlight vid.

Is it me or does the quality of this video suck?

  • Overtime

Didnt like Stack when he was at Dallas (more due to not liking the Mavs overall than anything), but he was deadly at one point, I hope he gets back on2 the Bucks or somewhere else this season

Stack was the man in Detroit, his 2000-01 season was crazy he averaged 29.8 ppg. BTW RIP Stack Bundles (the rapper)

I have a question regarding the competition mentioned in this issue of slam with STACKHOUSE…. WHO WON THE ‘EVERY NBA JERSEY’ COMPETITION???

  • http://double-technical.blogspot.com zee!

@Kevin Yeah I was expecting to hear some RRS (Rockaway Riot Squad) up on here. Lol Shout out to $tack Bundle$. And no shouts to Jerry for getting boomed on by John Wall.

  • Shadojoker

there were much better Stack mixes out there..but good looking out on showing him some love! btw..WHO DID WIN THE ‘EVERY NBA JERSEY’ COMPETITION??? lmao

Fila Stack 2, the only kicks I’ve ever bought TWICE – after the first pair died a natural death through wear and tear, I figured ‘why not?’! It was the go-go 90′s… Tony Gervino, Shawn Bradley, Glen Rice’s wife… simpler times.

    Mavs mix? Seriously?

  • http://www.kb24.com The Seed

First of all, this mix is WACK. A pass and steal two hand dunk is a highlight for Kinston, NC finest STACKHOUSE. Also the only highlights shown worth something was against the Clippers. LOL!! If only AI and Stack could have played together I blame it on AI then, also Stack was the man in Detroit like someone stated above. BOOK IT!!

Umm, that 2000-2001 season when he averaged 29 a game? The other four starters were Ben Wallace, Joe Smith, Michael Curry, and Chucky Atkins. The bench? Mikki Moore, Corliss Williamson, Billy Owens, Dana Barros, Mateen Cleaves, Brian Cardinal, Kornell David, John Wallace and Jud Bucheler (who was one of my dudes when he was in the Chi!) Of COURSE dude averaged nearly 30 a game, who else was gonna score on that squad? LOL!

i’ve never liked stackhouse because he didn’t seem to be much more than a glorified scorer.

i need a bonzi wells FOTS

  • JTaylor21

Dude deep down inside felt he was a superstar. Boy was he wrong. Nothing more than a high volume shot-jacker like some snake that plays today.

  • Do Work

that video is wack. how are you going to pay tribute to stackhouse and not show any sixers or pistons highlights?

  • E
