Video: Kevin Durant @ Goodman League Mix

We’re not trying to OD you on Kevin Durant, but we had to share this tape. A few points to note: 1) Despite his many obligations,  K.iD. still comes home to hoop in his local league 2) Look at what No. Durant is wearing out there 3) Kevin’s been working on his dunking arsenal

wow that’s good stuff. i really like the quick rising dunk where he has the ball low when he’s driving and all of a sudden wham!

  • oinestep

this dude is so impressive…….I knew he was good in Texas but didn’t know he would become a superstar in the league so fast

  • goattree

    Thanks for sharing Slam.

    keep the KD highlights coming.

  • adrianc513

Great Tape but how high is that Rim??

  • WangChung

@oinestep: Don’t feel bad. I was a major doubter too.

  • oinestep

    and that beat bangs

  • Sparker

not to second guess the coaches of those teams, but have any of them heard of double-teaming?

  • The Philosopher

    Durant has to be careful.
    Hard floor.
He looked to be actually hustling a bit.
    No knee pads.

dude has game thats just it.. when i heard his college coach predicting that kd would make his mark in nba history i was thinkin “haha, wow, this dude is crazy or on crack or both ” lol.. i figured he woiuld be a good solid player n maybe average 17 or 19 ppg over the course of his career but wow i was totally wrong.. he has the perfect team for his game.. (i dont think he would be near the player he is now if portland would have selected him 1st).. now i praise his college coach as a brilliant (basketball-wise) individual.. kd will surely make his mark in nba history.. he already has

If dude isn’t in the top 8 when the Slamonline top 50 comes out, we are going to have some problems.

  • Remo Williams

what are his chances of becoming Kobe V2.0?

  • http://www.pardonthedopeness.blogspot.com DP

I say Durant has one of the most polished games I’ve every seen at this young of a age, Remo. Granted, I’m only 18 years old so I haven’t seen alot of the greats, but Durant will mos def win at least 2 more scoring championships.

  • andrew

can we call him Ice now?

  • http://slamonline.com mike

Knew when I saw him in Springfield, MA, at the HoopHall Classic he would be one League’s best in a short amount of time. Big things to come for this young man.

dang!!!! KD hooked the Goodman League up, since when has Nike been sponsoring it???? thats good lookin KD, lookin out for the hood

  • http://slamonline.com The Black Rick Kamla

    straight up childs play

  • JTaylor21

@Remo, Well he’s already on his way with the airballs in clutch and the unwillingness to pass and horrible shot selection. All he has to do now is get babyed to 4 rings, LT a white broad, and call out his teammates on video. He be good to go.

Baby Shaq from and 1 was on the receiving end of a lot of pull up jumpers.

  • dez

i think he can scratch his knee while standing upright. what a freak of nature.

  • http://www.twitter.com/dfrance21 dfrance21

He definitely has the moves but there is no way that rim is 10ft. lol.

  • Sarc

Really not that impressive. He looked like the tallest guy out there by at least 4 inches. Nice dunks, nice shots, nice moves on way too inferior competition

  • nastierthanu4

Sarc can you remember when it was just fun to go out and play pick up. Somebody calls you up and says they need you for a tournament, that is “the love of the game.” I like when big time ballers give the little guy a shot. It’s easy just to play in the league once your established, but to put your game out there for everyday ballers who might be in D2 schools or fighting for a contract over seas is what I call confident. Cause you never know

  • duane moore

sicks moves, sweet jump shot, those other dudes were completely helpless guarding him, giving them a reality check of how good you have to be to be in the L

  • JoeMaMa

I saw the same moves at different angles. What is this, Teen Wolf?! Good vid!

  • Crimson

Barry Farm in SE DC every summer and no matter which stars show up….KD kills

  • http://theurbangriot.com The Nupe

I’m sure he crushed a lot of dreams. Ballers out there thought they had a shot in the L, then they got a chance to play with/against KD. Humbling experience for them at the least.
