  • Overtime

Wow we’re still doing top 50 this year? I figured we’d already been lucky enough with the FOTS. Would have been a great summer just with that!

  • The Philosopher

    What a great player.
What a really, really great player.
A basketball player for the ages.
    Top 25 all time.

  • http://theurbangriot.com The Nupe

Nice trailer, even managed to capture a Kobe pass – that doesn’t happen often. Who’s #1 isn’t up for debate unless people think LBJ is somehow worse than he was last year (not his image, his game) and that Kobe has improved with age (which he may be better than last year assuming no more injuries). I’m not saying this out of LeBron love and Kobe hate, it’s just that if LeBron was #1 last year, unless somebody got better (Durant ain’t that good yet) or LeBron got worse (no reason to think that), then there is no reason that he should lose top billing.

  • Jacob (from Australia)

@The Nupe, Or unless Kobe dominated the Finals so much, he moved to top spot. But he didn’t even do that. People were debating whether he was the Finals MVP or not… I’m with you, LeBron proved himself over the course of the regular season.

  • cheers

They should make a video for lebron. He has a lot of crazy plays and is a great player. Definitely top 90-100 players of all time.

Awesome video of the BADDEST BALL PLAYER ON THE PLANET, Kobe has earned his love, some others need to do the same to get the same love. Kobe Bryant has played 14 years and still is in debate for being the best player in the NBA. Thats commitment, motivation and determination.
@The Philosopher: Top 25 all time, funny cat, more like top 8 all time to me.
@Jacob: No intelligent person would have given the MVP award to Gasol. Kobe was going to get the award win or lose. Go rewatch the NBA Finals games 1 through 7 and ask yourself where was Gasol some of those games. Stop hating on his shooting performance in Game 7 and try to used that to boost up the come and go Spaniard. MJ had worst shooting percentages in big games, BUT GUESS WHAT they won and THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS. BOOK IT!!!

*well, after MIKE.But baddest mofo since MIKE.lebron??? JOKE!!!

  • http://www.bseentv.com.au lancearvin

    Nice Trailer.
Great Player, one of the Greatest.
Kobe Bryant can put basketball into a different level.

  • http://www.threadsandkicks.com.au Eduardo

Kobe’s great! Unfortunate that people hate him because he’s a 6’6 player that people always compare to Jordan and want’s to play just like him. So what if he does, he’s still arguably the most competitive player in the league. Yes LeBron’s got better stats but remember LBJ weights more, is taller and bigger.

  • meir21

thnks for posting it and for the comments :)

  • Ali

Vid is on point! Muggs have been doubting and critial of KB24 since the finals lost in 2008, and even before that! “he can’t jump as high”, he don’t dunk as much”, “he’s lost a step”, Hahaha….All he does is come back more hungry to win. We all know that after 30yrs old ALL players lose a little bit of their game but it’s what they do mentally to battle through what they have lost, the intangibles baby!, steals, defense, court awareness, leadership, assists, diving for loose balls, etc. After the MVPs and Scoring Titles, you learn later it’s about the TEAM and that RING!

  • TrailBlazing&SportingLisbon

@the Seed: facts; you drool all ova kobes balls, you say hes the best of the best after MJ; he ABSOLUTLY POSITIVLY DOES NOT WIN RINGS 4 and 5 without Pau so you bash THE MAIN GUY RESPONSIBLE FOR KOBE´s legacy NOT being one excelent sidekick to Shaq but one of the 15/20 best players of all time…

YOU REALIZE WITHOUT PAU ITS OVER AT 3 RINGS WITH SHAQ FOR YOUR BOY MAMBA RIGHT? your bashing the guy that allows you to say Kob is ANYWHERE NEAR close to MJ and keep drooling all over his jock, now thats ironic as sh1t…thats called ingratitude also, shieeettt, kids seem dumb.

  • Ben Flook

14 years of greatness! Can’t wait for this season, before that can’t wait for the top fifty numbers 3,2,1 could get more comments than any page ever!

  • http://www.triplejunearthed.com/dacre Dacre

THAT kind of 1 min of magic would be PERFECT on the next video game.

  • http://sports.espn.go.com/oly/olybb/news/story?id=5493184 Jackie Moon

Flashback to 1980s trailers … reminds me of “IN A WORLD … WHERE HEROES ARE FEW … AND DANGER LURKS EVERYWHERE … ONE MAN RISES ABOVE IT ALL …”

  • http://sports.espn.go.com/oly/olybb/news/story?id=5493184 Jackie Moon

@TrailBlazing – You realize that without Scottie it’s over at zero rings for Michael Jordan, right?

  • TrailBlazing&SportingLisbon

thats exacly my point, i do realize Jackie, I really do..and THATS WHY ANY MJ FANBOY CAN NOT SAY ANYTHING BAD ABOUT PIPPEN, the way Seed´s love for Kobe should not let him bash Pau, the guy who allowed kob to win as the #1 option.

  • http://juanm.garcia@comcast.net Flashback

I only respect champs. So all you mofo’s on here can go suck a d1ck. LeBrons’ most likely…

  • Cool Dude

#1 should be Durant. Dude has the potential to do a ridiculous 33+ ppg, MJ like season.

  • joe

Kobe is the best basketball player in the NBA hands down. Who ever questions if Kobe is the MVP over Pau Gasol is a idiot and knows little of the sport or ignorant. Kobe averaged more points, assist, steals than Pau Gasol. He even averaged just 2 less rebounds than Pau and Pau Gasol is a 7 foot PF opposed to Kobe being a 6’6 guard.

  • http://alan.george@gmail.com Breeze

  • RyandC

@TrailBlazing: I went back and read The Seed’s post and I dont think he was bashing on Pau but more on saying that Kobe was hands down MVP instead of Gasol. We all know Kobe doesnt win without Pau same as Jordan doesnt win without Pip and Shaq doesnt win without Kobe but they are still the better players than their “sidekicks”.
