David Stern Enjoys Getting Booed at the NBA Draft (VIDEO)

The Commish brushes off the disrespect.

Every year, without fail, NBA fans lustily boo the commissioner of the League throughout the Draft. And David Stern seems to enjoy the fans’ helpless animosity towards him with increasing glee.

    embarrasing as an nba fan. i swear people act like this guy has never done 1 positive thing. from his dress code to his fines, some people have no appreciation for what this man has done, not only for the nba. but for basketball in general

    If the Draft was held in Vancouver the summer after the Grizz left you know we would’ve flipped that POS’s limo and lit it on fire and rioted. Cuz thats what we do.

    PPL don’t just hate Stern because he’s ugly. A recent championship was won because superstars joined forces but CP3 couldn’t go to LA? Joke! That’s why ppl hate stern. The future of the NBA was looking good but now I’m not so sure..

    The Stone Cold “What?” would be epic…..There were some Iverson chants people are really starting to pick up on the fact that AI was blackballed out of the league.

    I think it’s fair what Stern did with the Chris Paul trade, since the Miami Heat big three joined forces via Free Agency, and Chris Paul wanted to be traded to L.A in exchange of bad pieces to the New Orleans team. Melo trade was more fair, look at how much potential the Nuggets have with the trade they got for Carmelo Anthony.

    It’s just as unfair if not even more unfair. Superstars shouldn’t be able to take less money so they can team up and ruin the game. Do you see how Miami plays basketball now? It’s all penetrate, hang in the air until you find a 3 point shooter, kick it out and hope he makes it…no wonder Lebron wants ray Allen so bad. Thy neglect their weak spots (1 and 5) arguably the two most important positions in the game, so they can get Allen? What a joke. I hate everything to do with stern, pat Riley, and the Miami heat. Nobody from the east seems to be improving so let’s hope okc, San Antonio, or the la teams come to play next season.

    I agree the talent needs to be balanced in the league, it will be more competitive that way. Thank god this was a short season so nobody will really count it anyway. If we hadn’t just came out of talks for a new CBA Paul would be on a real championship team, not the wanna be clippers who think thy can play after one good season. Griffin’s knees will go out and then what?

    So David Stern is a villian because he didn”t allow the Lakers to pull off another dubious trade? Really. The league is still competitive the heat didn’t dominate teams .
