Jameer Nelson’s Season Could Be Over; Decision Yet to Be Made

Whatever they decide to do, this is terrible news for the Magic: “Magic point guard Jameer Nelson will have surgery at some point to repair a torn labrum, General Manager Otis Smith said Tuesday. Smith said the club was trying to determine whether Nelson will have the operation soon, which would end his season, or try to rehab and play through the injury. Most likely, Nelson will be out for the season. ‘At some point in time, he’s going to have to have surgery,’ Smith said.”

    It seems like a lot of injuried happen during the 2 weeks leading up to All-Star Weekend. I hope Vince Carter gets to replace him. Can’t have a more “entertaining” game with out him.

    This sucks so bad. I sorta just was feeling that Jameer was having an amazing season and would die down a year or two afterwords. Now I hope I’m wrong. He deserves more time in the limelight.

    Definitely sux for him. Hope he gets healthy (for the playoffs if any,tho not likely it seems) So i guess its between Mo and Ray Ray now for that ASG spot….

    as far as all star is concerned it’s obvious that stern should pick mo williams. now for the magic, they’ve gotta swing a deal – crittenton, lowry, watson, TELFAIR. where in the world is bryce drew? maybe travis diener again. i just pray to god we don’t pick up stevie franchise tinsley or marbury somehow…
