Are the Sixers for Real?

Wisely, Andre Miller is taking the wait and see approach: “Through the end of January and into February, while the 76ers were riding high with 14 wins in 18 games, point guard Andre Miller remained cautious. The question kept coming his way: ‘When will he believe the Sixers are for real?’ ‘We need to maintain this level after the all-star break,’ Miller kept saying, insisting that bridging the gap from pre-break to post-break would determine this team’s ability. Miller was right to be cautious: Since the break, the Sixers are 3-7 and most recently lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder, who were without their best player, Kevin Durant.”

If real means that they will get swept in the first round of the playoffs, then hell yeah they’re for real.

Just imagine if they’d spent the money they gave to Brand wisely. I could see Matt Barnes or Pietrus making a big difference there and keeping them below the cap. They just need shooting.
