What to Do With Derek Fisher

The League may have to take disciplinary action against the Lakers point guard prior to Game 3: ” Fisher’s actions will be reviewed by the league today and could lead to a suspension for Friday night’s Game 3 in Houston. He said he doesn’t even think he should have been ejected let alone suspended, suggesting that Scola’s screen was simply further away from him than he expected when he tried to run through it. ‘I understand the officials were trying to get the game under control at that point,’ Fisher said. ‘My intent was to run through the pick hard. He was further away from me than I thought, so my arm was up high when I hit him.’”

    From the video it appears that Derek looked before he hit Luis, so it’s likely the league will suspend him.

    Wow, the officiating and penalizing of players in these playoffs has been terribly inconsistent… It’s very frustrating to see, I Rondo Punched Brad Miller in the face and threw Kirk Hinrich into the scorer’s table (then ran away) and he didn’t get ejected OR a fine! I’m fine if they want to be strict on all of them or leaneant on all of them, but just pick one for goodness sake.
