Knicks After Andre Miller?

Should Grant Hill turn them down (although, Jason Kidd seems to think he’s Gotham-bound), New York may end up with ‘Dre: “The Knicks could conceivably offer Miller the same deal Jason Kidd rejected; $18million over three years. Another possibility is signing Miller to a one-year, mid-level deal worth $5.8 million. A one-year contract would give the Knicks salary-cap flexibility for the free agent class of 2010. Plus, Miller may be receptive to signing for one year and testing the free agent market next summer.”

    Um, if he’s going to take a 1 yr MLE, wouldn’t it make sense to re-up with the Sixers? They are in a better position to win than the Knicks. He thought he was going to get a 3 year deal worth $10M a year. No way. Maybe he just feels spurned by the Sixers offer.

    I like the idea of AI in NY. But adding him to the grizz would complete a playoff team. Whats Eddy Currys situation? Is he even still playing? Havent heard anything about him since the whole thing with him hitting on his driver.

    Eddy Curry is being ordered to report to summer league to see how his conditioning is going. He doesn’t have to play in the games though. The Du-Dre Backcourt spearheaded by Coach D’antoni huh? Triple D. Or uh, DDD, the infamous Carlos Mencia joke…
