Beef: Marv Albert vs 50 Cent

This is an amazing story. I hope Marv releases a diss record soon: “On Wednesday, Albert was a guest on the “Jimmy Kimmel Live” show. The musical star was rapper 50 Cent. As Albert arrived, with an entourage of one, TNT public relations specialist Jeff Pomeroy, there was a sudden scuffle when a multitude of 50 Cent protectors seemed unfamiliar with Albert. There was shouting (‘It’s Marv Albert,’ yelled a Kimmel show guard, a pronouncement that seemed to have no effect on the 50 Cent phalanx.) There were obscenities. A fist or two flying. A ‘Don’t you put your hands on me” pronouncement. And finally Albert made it to his waiting room, relatively unruffled but slightly puzzled. ‘Did you see that?’ Albert said. ‘I thought they were kidding, but then I realized they weren’t.”‘

    Well to be fair, I wouldn’t know Marv Albert if he stood next to me. But, on the other hand, 50′s “protectors” just sound like a bunch of overprotective douches to me.

    honestly i’m somewhat disappointed at the un-hilarity of the comments. these two gentlemen are two of the biggest names in their fields, and i thought they have enough bizarre back stories to inspire fun-tastic comments. sadly i can’t think of one either. maybe we are just too weirded out and can’t really react.

    What does this do for 50′s street cred? Beating up middle-aged men with toupees doesn’t exactly scream ‘super thug’. However, Marv is a reformed felon. Maybe 50′s crew figured they’d build cred by taking out a real hardened criminal.

    This week on CELEBRITY DEATHMATCH… Both combatants in full battle regalia fight it out!
    That means Marv Albert, in full S&M gear… VERSUS… 50 Cent, wearing one of his sports bra/tank tops. AND… To even it out since 50 is so much bigger, he has to be weighed down by every pieace of jewelry he owns and all the bullets he’s been hit with over the years. Seriously, 50 is the only dude ever to base his rep as a “tough guy”, on the the fact he got shot nine times, in one attack mind you, not nine seperate shootings. Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t the real “thugs” the guys who do the shooting, not the ones laying on the ground bleeding and crying… LMMFAO!!!

    this is bad media.. marv was on the Dan Patrick show this morning.. and said 50 wasn’t even there… and that marv showed up to one of 50′s guys arguing with a security guard.. cause he wanted to use marv’s room for a phone call.. by the time marv got to his room.. it wasn’t even an issue..
