Time for Andrew Bynum’s Annual Injury?

Young Andrew hurt his elbow in the closing moments of last night’s thrilling victory against Houston, and an MRI today will determine the severity of the injury: “Andrew Bynum suffered what’s initially being called a sprained right elbow on the Lakers’ final possession of overtime on Wednesday when he was fouled going up for a shot. The injury didn’t prevent Bynum from sinking the second of two free throws to break a tie at 102, but he will have an MRI on it on Thursday and struggled to get dressed after the game. ‘I can’t really lift my arm right now. I have to get it checked out,’ Bynum said. ‘I swear I hope it’s not serious.”‘

Dear Body of Andrew Bynum: Pleas don’t do that to me and my fantasy team …! Thank you …

  • Bryan Posted: Nov.5 at 9:21 am
This dude is a p*ssy. Seriously.

  • Brad Long Posted: Nov.5 at 9:45 am
I’m convinced that Russ pulled a Tonya Harding on him.

  • Hisham Posted: Nov.5 at 10:07 am
haha he swears he hopes it’s not serious. Like we’d think that he’d lie about that because we always thought he’d rather be inactive and not contribute.

This is frustrating to watch. I’ve been pulling for him since I saw him go “toe to toe” with Shaq as a rookie. He has the tools, but if he’s stuck on the bench, he might as well be a Collins brother.

Damnit!!!Again?Didnt he injure himself against Grizzlies the past 2 last seasons?Should atleast wait for that.Andrew always starts the season of great and if he stays healthy he is probably an all star, because Yao Ming is missing.

  • twahc Posted: Nov.5 at 10:21 am
well, this gonna ruin his aim this season… to become an all-star, isn’t it?

Anyone else notice how much everyone loves it when a laker goes down. I pray that no team loses a player, because it just gives them a lame a$$ excuse for why they couldn’t beat the Lakeshow. But everyone just loves it when its a Laker. Definition of P*ssy. “i hope the lakers get injured so we can beat them” f*kin b*tch*s

  • Pve84 Posted: Nov.5 at 10:26 am
YES, the “I swear I hope it’s not serious” seems odd. Who hopes that their injuries ever are serious?

  • Dacre Posted: Nov.5 at 10:47 am
It’s like how Eddie Curry might say “I swear, I hope these 14 burgers have lite cheese”.

  • Jake Posted: Nov.5 at 10:57 am
Bryan do you have any idea how much a sprained elbow hurts?

  • Dacre Posted: Nov.5 at 11:49 am
Bryan, do you have any idea how much fat is in these 14 burgers?

I hate Kobe and the Lakers a LOT but even I have to admit he was right a long time ago about Bynum. They could have gotten Jason Kidd or something.

  • UnRel Posted: Nov.5 at 12:19 pm
In his defense.. drew did get hammered on that play.. and at least his injuries aren’t flukes.. like ‘back spasms’ or ‘stubbed toe’ or anything weak like that..

  • aarons Posted: Nov.5 at 12:32 pm
no big deal, i saw the play and initially it hurts but the lakers training staff will be all over him making sure he gets appropriate treatments around the clock. and remember this is not a sprint, it’s a marathon so if need be when gasol in a game or two drew could take a couple games off to rest up.

Hey Bryan, thank you so much for your intelligent, insightful comment. You must know lot about sprained elbows since you have your arm shoved so deep down your throat.

  • AndTheJellosJigglin Posted: Nov.5 at 5:59 pm
Oh yeah I forgot something, seriously. Seriously.

  • chintao Posted: Nov.5 at 8:55 pm
Yeah, I sure don’t want to have to spend time rehabbing at the Playboy Mansion again… seriously.

WHy do you ‘hate’ Kobe and the lakers? WHy hate one of the most diligent athletes of all time? How can a basketball fan even say nonesense like this? Its the red cordial isn’t it.
