  I tend to agree Kieran, even if I wouldn’t have put it that harshly, heh. Way overpriced. And if you’re serious about sound, there’s no way I’d recommend getting headphones that are “pre-tweaked” as I call it. Get something with a clear, flat sound then tweak it yourself with your equalizer if you choose. Sony MDR 7506 FTW.

  I should have added, if you’re going for more of a status symbol or fashion accessory, then Beats are a fine choice. The wisdom of doing that is up for debate though…

  Kieran is obviously an idiot who goes to school or an idiot with a low paying job. I got a pair of studios for the price of two pairs of basketball trainers…the amount I use them has easily made the cost worth it. They’re the best sounding headphones i’ve ever heard…they’re not for everyone, they’re skewed towards producing much more bass at the lower end of the scale, but I happen to love some bass in my music.

  @ Doyouwantmore. I was about 2 post the exact same thing (the Sennheiser). £289 for hearphones??? I have a pair of Senheiser that I bought 4 £20 and they are more noise canceling (what I was looking 4 primarely) I mean that’s great 4 Dre, professional athletes are making him unaccountable advertisement 4 way overpriced items.   @Kieran (agree with the 1st part of ur statement) but if u can afford 2 look good @ that price? The only thing is they are sold as the best when they are not (IMO) and I’ve tested them 4 an hour! Sennheiser = Meilleur rapport qualite/prix. Best quality whatsoever. Book it! (like The Seed will say)

  @Si I’m actually a sound engineer! But thanks. I guess my original words were fairly harsh. My point really is that for the price you can get far better quality headphones, but for some reason these are always billed as being the best quality.
  My headphones cost twice the amount of these and my headphone amp (which is essential) even more. Price has absolutely no bearing. I spend that much just on cables between my speakers.
