Antawn Jamison Unhappy With Bench Role?

Byron Scott has named J.J. Hickson as his starter (despite some frustration with his play), and it’s apparently not sitting too well with Antawn Jamison. The News-Herald reports: “Jamison doesn’t appear to be thrilled with coming off the bench. ‘It is what it is,’ he said. ‘I don’t know what the role is going to (entail). I don’t know how many minutes I’ll play. I’m up in the air, just like you.’”

    I don’t see why he is batter suited for the bench role instead of a starting role.

    Trade him. He don’t want no part of a rebuilding team and I don’t blame him. He needs 2 b on a title contending team

    Jamison is still a very good player. Cavs should trade him cause he’s old and they’re rebuilding.

    I’d be extremely happy to trade him in exchange for a salary dump. I don’t hate Twan. But we are rebuilding.

    Although he knows the Princeton offense a lot better than JJ, he had a horrible pre-season. JJ did make some mistakes but overall looked like the better fit out there. I like Twan but looking at JJ’s performance this pre-season and his potential/expectations for the future, this is the right move. Twan and Boobie off the bench will get decent minutes. Also, I still expect Twan to get some time at the 3. Plus as long as he stays healthy, some contender is likely going to make a trade offer for him.

    Jamison should be starting over the overated JJ. Jamison is an consistent 20 10 guy until Cavs, Lebron apparently didn’t make Jamison better, like he made JJ. BOOK IT!!

    I don’t know what happened when Jamison got to Cleveland. He was fine playing with Gilbert Arenas and Caron Butler. Looks like LeBron didn’t do anything for him at all.

    He needs too be traded. Lol@anyone saying its brons fault for jamison doing nothing. Its mike browns fault. All they had jamison doing is hang around 3pt line. And they tried to have him guard kg.
