Clippers Looking to Trade Baron Davis

Can’t imagine there are a lot of takers, given Davis‘ exorbitant contract. From Marc Spears: “The Los Angeles Clippers are exploring whether anyone has interest in trading for point guard Baron Davis. Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro recently criticized Davis’ conditioning, and the Clippers won their first game of the season – a 107-92 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder – with Davis out of lineup because of a swollen left knee. Including this season, Davis has three years and $41.8 million left on his contract.”

    I was kind of surprised by this, but then again, they DID draft Bledsoe and dude has been playing out of his mind.

    What a shock…not. Baron has never been a real star player. He plays like a maniac in contract years and otherwise he’s too fat or injured or lazy. The Clips don’t need him anymore with EG, Griffin, Bledsoe, Kaman, and a decent point guard in Randy Foye.

    if only he could play for the clips like he did for the warriors the last couple years he was there.. he used to be one of my fav points he could do it all then he jus goes to LA n gets fat n out of shape.. they would be better off lettin bledsoe start the rest of the season.. he is their point for the future

    Bledsoe never got an opportunity to show what he could do behind the over hyped John Wall, so Bledsoe is going to be the man. Bledsoe is better than what people think, he should have stayed in college to show what he can do but, Clippers finally got a steal in the draft. BOOK IT!!

    Please, please let this happen. Davis seems to kill any sort of urgency and intensity the Clippers are playing with when he’s on the court, especially defensively. Give Bledsoe a chance, it will clear the path for Gordon and Griffin to establish themselves as the undisputed leaders/stars of the team.

    so Baron Davis, Elton Brand and Gilbert Arenas walk into a bar…amd EVERY FU(KIN GM IN THE LEAGUE RUNS FOR HIS LIFE!!!hahahha, Bledsoe looks like the real deal though, thats nice for the Clips, meanwhile Kaman´s shooting like 19% from the field, he and Darko are lookin like sh1t!

    Baron used to be one of the top pgs in the league, he seems to have just stopped trying since joining LAC.. Wonder if he could get his stats and determination back up on a contender??

    Bledsoe is doing fine as a starter. He, Gordon, Griffin and Kaman are a great core to build around. Hopefully they’ll have a good season. But man, Baron is untradeable.
