David Kahn ‘Absolutely Certain’ Ricky Rubio is Minnesota-Bound

The Wolves‘ GM doesn’t worry too much about media reports saying otherwise, because according to him, Ricky Rubio will soon live and work in Minnesota. The Star Tribune reports: “Wolves president of basketball operations David Kahn called a New York Times report this week on Ricky Rubio ‘much ado about nothing’ and ‘not worthy of a response.’ The report quoted an unnamed source close to Rubio asking why the Spanish guard would ever play in Minnesota and stating the Wolves draft pick wants to play for Boston, New York or Miami when he decides to come to the NBA. Kahn said he remains ‘absolutely’ certain Rubio will join the Wolves next season after a buyout with his Regal Barcelona team becomes affordable.”

KAHN tells no lies – believe it or not. He said beasley was gonna be nice, and Kevlar for that matter… even DARKO!

Kinda funny how great Love plays without an elite, or good for that matter, point guard.

you know for as stupid as kahn sounds, he has been right like Gav said on Beasley and Darko. Although Darko is still too inconsistent to be an NBA starter.

who hires a coach that runs a triangle, then drafts 2 pg’s immediately after? Oh and a year later adds a ball stopping 3/4 and a player with a questionable basketball IQ in Wesley Johnson? David Khan does, this guy is an idiot

Here is what I think should happen. I am not an expert, I am just stating what I would do with Rubio. Since The Nets are looking for someone to help shape their team. Make some off to the Nets throw in Rubio and someother combo for a Brook Lopez or something like that. There for Rubio can be in the big city, and Jay Z and their owner can feel like they acomplished something. We can get rid of one of our point guard hopefully get a solid player, or another future draft pick that we can mess up again. That is just something I would like to do with him.
