Report: Rockets Send Aaron Brooks to Suns For Goran Dragic

A report from Phoenix has the Suns and Rockets swapping PGs: “The Suns ‘likely’ are trading Goran Dragic and a first-round draft choice to Houston for Aaron Brooks, a source said.”

    Great move for the Suns. Dragic has his moments of greatness, but this season he’s shown he’s nowhere near ready to lead a team’s offense. This will soften the blow of Phoenix’s rebuilding efforts.

    I’m…. very mixed…. Brook is much better than Dragic, but there are two issues now, a) we have two of the worst defensive points in the game. Now, Dragic for all his defense actually isn’t helping us because people are abusing our defense in other areas, but still…. and b) Aaron was traded by Houston because he didn’t want to be a bench point… Uhhhh he’s gonna be a bench point in Phoenix.
    So, I’m worried. A tad.

    Awww, I’ll be sad to see Brooks go. He’ll be a great player for the Suns–Phoenix is lucky to have him. Best of luck with your future, Aaron.
    I really have no idea why Morey traded Brooks for another point guard, but oh well.
