A collection of The Doggfather’s purple and yellow-inspired raps.
Snoop Dogg’s 18-year solo career reached a new milestone today, when the California MC’s 11th solo album Doggumentary hit stores this morning. A lifelong Lakers fan, Snoop has been repping the purple and yellow in his lyrics for as long as he’s been making music. (He also has an adidas line of products—including a pair of kicks and a track top—influenced by his fandom.) In celebration of Snoop’s new LP, here’s a look back at the best of those Lakers-inspired raps (without using more than one from the same song), and you can go ahead and pick up Doggumentary from Amazon here.
