We’ve asked the question at various points during the season, but now that the year’s over (and with MVP being solely a regular season award), we can establish that the Most Valuable Player was…?

    Looks like this year it belongs to “The Horns”, but keep in mind its been a while since anyone has grabbed this trophy and went on to win a title in the same season (03 – TD).

    I read it, that link totally disregards anything that happens in the 4th quarter, or who performs better in close games. Basically the Heat blow people out because they have LeBron and Wade, still win with LeBron but if Wades out they’re under .500 and without LeBron they are winless. Obviously the Bulls are the better team, they have a better record, so the take a guy off argument is null and void. The only argument for someone other then Rose is Dwight Howard, the rest is just stat based drivel that doesn’t actually have a foundation or reason behind it.

    @mj23 thanks for this link. I truly think LBJ stays the most valuable in the NBA. But Drose is the MVP this year, bacause 1-bulls are first in the east and 2-OK, Lebron’s stats can be compared to Larry’s but he has not make an impact in people’s mind when it comes to win in the biggest stage. Basically, he does not deserve a three peat (Even if Steve had a repeat). And I say this being Miami first believer fot this year.

    Sorry LBJ will not win a MVP in Miami unless the Heat win 70 or lose DWADE for a long time to an injury.
