Javaris Crittenton Wanted For Murder

Shocking news out of Georgia involving former NBA player Javaris Crittenton—he’s wanted in the homicide death of a 23-year-old Atlanta woman. From the Atlanta Journal-Constitution: “When he saw the person he believed robbed him, a former NBA player and Georgia Tech standout fired gunshots from a black SUV, striking a 23-year-old mother of four, Atlanta police said. Now, Javaris Crittenton, 23, faces a murder charge in the death of Jullian Jones, authorities said Friday night. ‘It appears Mr. Crittenton observed who he thought was the perpetrator walking down the street,’ Major Keith Meadows told the AJC. ‘It so happens Miss Jones was walking down the street at the same time.’ Jones was walking with others near her Macon Drive home in southwest Atlanta around 10 p.m. Aug. 19 when she was shot, police said. Several witnesses told police the shots were fired from a black Chevrolet Tahoe. Jones was struck in the leg and later died during surgery. Two men walking with Jones fled and were not injured, and investigators now believe one of those men was the intended target. Investigators believe Crittenton may have been seeking retaliation after being robbed of his jewelry April 21, Meadows said. Crittenton reported that crime to police. Crittenton is not in custody and is believed to be in the greater Los Angeles area, Meadows said. Atlanta detectives are working with the FBI to take him into custody.”

What a dummy this guy is. A fool, no common sense. All the work all the effort and the haters and the B.S. these guys suffer though, and you throw it away over some crap? Really?

Not only Javaris should be put away in jail, but also the man who was the target. It is likely that he saw it coming and put the woman
    (his friend ?) between them.
We also know that he fled the scene.

If you bring gun in your everyday routine, eventually you will use it. You will have a pseudo courage, a pseudo confidence which can lead to something you will regret. I think gill zero was lucky that day…….

Javaris’s life is over as we know it. Prayers to the young woman’s family. This is all so sad !!!

  • LolReally

The woman who died wasn’t so innocent. She was keeping company with a man who was going around robbing people. A clear case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Had she been home watching those kids or at work she would still be alive.

This guy needs to just go to the pen bra. None of that nonsense is wanted or needs to happen even if it was a reaction to him getting robbed he could have handle it differently.

  • DeeDre

@LolReally Lol really? How are you gonna judge this woman just because she was traveling with that guy. it could have been a number of scenarios we just don’t know. And even if she was “keeping him company” she probably had nothing to do with the robbery and didnt deserve to die from a stray bullet

  • MikeC.

Another reason that handguns should be banned. If all he had access to was a rifle, he would have been able to aim better.

The “jokes” on here aren’t funny. Not suprisingly, they came from the regular idiots here at slamonline… EJ’s comments were stupid, but LolReally takes the cake for ignorance on here. Who the hell are you to judge that woman? You don’t know a damn thing about her or the company she keeps. Just as you can jump to conclusions about the victim’s “innocence”, I can go ahead and assume your mother was far worse a parent than she was. How else could you have grown up to be such an insensitive, ignorant, d-bag if your mom hadn’t failed at giving you a proper upbringing? People who were raised properly don’t usually share your mentality. See how that works, stupid? As for Crittenton, we don’t really know if or why he shot that woman. All we know is that based on the preliminary investigation he is the suspect that appears to have done this. Based on his previous behavior and the police details made public, I too believe there is a strong possibility he may have committed this murder. I hate when society’s morons start quoting bits and pieces of amendments in our Constitution, but don’t know a damn thing about it. There are no clauses that govern public opinion. Innocent until proven guilty is how we should be viewed in the eyes of the law. The rest of us are free to think and feel whatever the hell we want.
