Danny Granger to Host Dinner for Pacers Arena Workers

The NBA lockout has been very difficult on employees in various NBA arenas, so Danny Granger is going to do something nice for the folks in Indy. Per his Twitter page: “All the workers at our arena are invited to dinner with me in Indianapolis….. Date to be announced soon.. A little #nbalockout gift. Figured it’s the least I could do to help them out.”

This is a very nice gesture by Danny Granger. He continues to be one of my favorite NBA players.

“Sorry, you can’t work for $9/hour because me and my friends don’t want to drop our future multimillion dollar salaries by 7%… but here, how about a buffet”

  • CubicleWorker

Half jokes.. it’s a nice gesture but it’d be a little bitter sweet if I was an arena worker

@cubical worker did the players lockout the owners or did the owners lockout the players? Oh ok.

  • CubicleWorker

Hahah no but they are the ones refusing to go back to work under an economically feasible agreement. By that I mean a 50/50 BRI split and 4-5 year contract lengths.
