Yi Jianlian Injured His Right Knee Playing in China


Eazy Yi recently became the latest NBAer to suffer an injury while playing overseas during the lockout. He’s expected to miss 2-4 weeks. China Daily reports: “Guangdong Hongyuan star center Yi Jianlian was injured midway the game when teammate Zhu Fangyu crushed him in the right leg while falling after a scramble with Beijing’s Stephon Marbury. Yi, who started his game with three points, then walked off the court and was sent to a local hospital for examination. … ‘We are still unsure about Yi’s injury,’ said Guangdong head coach Li Chunjiang.”
