Report: Boris Diaw, Charlotte Bobcats Prepared to Part Ways

According to French sports publication L’Equipe, the Boris Diaw Experience in Charlotte might soon be coming to an end. Ball in Europe translates: “Such a release from the ‘Cats would come six months before his contract with the team expires, yet Catch & Shoot reports that ‘The franchise would indeed be ready to release Diaw … if an agreement is reached between both parties.’ Said Diaw to L’Equipe, ‘J’ai un choix à faire’ (‘I have a choice to make.’)”

I’d take him as a back up big on the Bulls.

  • Well DAYUM

    Welcome to the Lakers, Boris.

  • T-Money

I’d take him as the starting center for Miami. I wish I was kidding.

he is solid, should be picked up fast, a lot people make fat jokes but he uses his weight to his advantage

Someone speaks French at Slam and is able to read l’Equipe ?
Liking that. Good job guys for diversifying your sources.
L’equipe is the historic French sports paper, with 60% boring soccer and also covering our weird European sports (who said handball ?…).
But for basketball, even if it’s each time only 1 or 2 pages max in their daily paper, L’equipe really knows what they are talking about.
FYI, France is only a little more than 60 millions people with basketball way behind soccer, rugby, tennis, Formula one. But France in the 2010-2011 season was still the most represented foreign country with 11 players…
(But Spanish team is still the best international basketball team after the US. We’ll see if that changes in London 2012…)

So I guess him running the point wasn’t such a good idea after all? If he goes to the lakers maybe he can run point for them, he can’t be any slower than Fisher.

Go to the Bulls and next year Chicago should release Carlos Boozer.

I would think that the Lakers, Celtics, Knicks (former coach) Spurs would be one of the teams he ends up with. Fat jokes, and all when Boris is focused (I know, I know) dude can play all 5 spots theres only like 3 guys in the leage that can do that. He needs to go to a good vetran team.

This guy got really fat compared to his rookie season in ATL. Maybe too much o that French Bagette? Lolz

  • dannyb

Yes, Boris has a choice to make. Croissant or doughnut?

    Come back to Phoenix, Boris.

Hide your chocolate eclairs, Boris is on the loose.

    Boris “coming home” Jukai? lol

Stay the f*ck away from here. Jukai, don’t try and bring that fat lazy asshole to Phoenix again. I’ve heard enough stories about his lack of dedication to want him within 800 miles of here.

  • LA Huey

He needs someone like Pop to keep him in line.

  • MikeC.

Maybe NY can use him. We haven’t had a fat guy since Jerome James. Or he could play for Rodman’s stripper league. He just needs some glitter for his bosoms.
