Rockets to Waive Marcus Camby

Veteran center Marcus Camby has been cut by the Rockets, though the Houston Chronicle‘s Jonathan Feigen reports Camby could re-join the Rockets later in the season if they’re in need of a big man.

Nearly everyone said he would barely contribute this season when they picked him up. Nearly everyone was right.

because he can’t stay healthy. the better question is why did they sign him in the first place

if he is done, which i think he is, does that leave kobe, nash and J.O. as the only players left from the ’97 draft class? good run for camby, father time got another win though

It was the 96 class. And Allen and Fisher were a part of it too. Maybe more.

He never worked on his offensive game. Could have been much more of a household name if he had the desire of some of his peers. He did have a long NBA career though and I’m posting about him on Slam but, well nevermind.
