i love “conduct detrimental to the team”

    most versatile excuse

  • Will Lee

Why don’t they send him to write daily reports?

  • JML-G

both Cavs ownership and Bynum is dumb as hell.. i can bet Kyrie is counting days til he can bounce to another team (how about Heat? lol)

  • KingBenjamin

Lakers should be going all in to get him.

  • brothasdontsurf

I hope he straightens/grows his hair out again, buys a robe, infinite vodka/reggies/milk, and lives the rest of his life battling in a bowling league

  • playa

yup my bad, drunken mistake & unfortunately i was sober all this time….damn.

Woj reports that sources tell him that he “doesnt want to play basketball anymore” and “didnt like it” in the first place…what a bum. If he doesnt want to play then thats his choice, but u dont take money from two teams (remember the sixers?) and THEN decide you dont want to play anymore.

There’s an alley in every city…

I’m pretty sure he likes basketball.

Anyone who thinks he doesn’t like basketball is a an idiot.

Think about it logically, if he hated basketball as much as these “sources” claim, then why did he even start to play basketball? Because coaches forced him because he was tall? I doubt anyone can force Andrew Bynum to do what he doesn’t want to. Why would he put in so much work and time to get better at the game of basketball, if he hates it? If he hated basketball he never would have played high school ball, never would have put the time and effort to get better at the sport, any athlete who gets drafted as a high school player into the NBA had to work his ass off, end of story.

There is a better term to use than he doesn’t like basketball, that term is Andrew Bynum lacks a passion for basketball. If that is the case, than quite frankly I don’t blame the guy, he was one of the best young promising centers in the NBA who got robbed of his All-Star self because of injuries.

From what I’ve heard, he didn’t like how he was being utilized in Cleveland because of the ball dominating guards in Kyrie and Waiters, and that’s a fair argument on Bynum’s side considering the fact that when they did dump him the ball in the low-post he played like his old self.

Against the Spurs he scored 16 pts and had 6 rebs on 8-15 shooting in only 21 mins of play. Against the Bulls he abused Noah had 20 pts 10 rebs and 5 blks on 8-14 shooting in only 30 mins. Against the Hawks he had 20 pts and 13 rebs on 9-14 shooting in 27 mins of play. Again against the Bulls he had 19 points and 7 rebs on 9-15 shooting in 27 mins of play.

Bynum showed he could play like his old self when the ball is fed to him.

Bynum is better than 95% of NBA Centers today even not being 100%

    go 2 Miami! :D

  • Vince

He must’ve shot threes in practice.

I could imagine Anthony Bennett getting this soon….

  • Max

Some people aren’t motivated because they love the game, sometimes it’s just $$$$.
Not saying this is the case with Bynum, but it is a possibility.

  • Allan

Andrew Bynum wants to be a professional dancer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wX5ZzVz9qDs

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!

No but on a serious note….HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.

what a fraud, sorry Cleveland had to go through what sixer fans went through last year.

  • Caboose

Who could possibly like this guy?

  • http://signup.divinerenergy.com/ Anthony Dixon

Lol i hope bynum doesn’t want to play basketball anymore rather than playing for another team.

  • Ugh

Most NBA owners don’t like basketball, either. We should probably tell them to stop taking talent from NBA players and wasting it on money-generating publicity.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

Maybe he used to love it…….

  • pposse

a lot of guards in the nba make the game a lot more harder than it has to be

  • solito

“… only 6 Million guaranteed money,,,” – Seriously?!!! Well if you compare it to the 20 Mill Gilbert Arenas is sacking in, it has some truth to it.

At least Anthony Bennett played well against the C’s last night. The minutes Bynum is freeing up can be used productively by the Cavs.

  • Chris

Rumor has it, he batted out a load in the shower and one of his teammates stepped in it and had jizz between his toes. I’d be pissed too.

  • Zabbah

I think he was desperate for some NBA money. Who wouldn’t be? But once he got it there was no reason for him to work hard at his game anymore.

  • Lloyd

Same reason why anyone does a job they dislike. If you got the natural attributes to make millions, why wouldn’t you put a little work to try and get that? It’s like trying to get a promotion in a field you don’t really have passion for. All about that pay check.

  • Toner83

If Bynum signs with the Clippers or Heat, I wish the NBA would make him return the money he got from Cavs and Sixers for wasting their time.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

yeah possibly, idk. definitely don’t think we should assume he was unhappy his whole career. He clearly played with joy when the Lakers were winning. At least some of the time.

  • Zabbah

It’s easy to be happy when you’re winning championships.
