Not exactly the kind of news Larry Brown was looking for. The Charlotte Observer reports: “Jackson will serve that suspension during tonight’s road game against the New Orleans Hornets. It will cost him about $103,000 in pay, based on his salary this season of about $8.4 million. The suspension resulted from Jackson’s ejection early in a road game Saturday in Milwaukee. Jackson was charged with back-to-back technical fouls by referee Eli Roe 41/2 minutes into the game. The NBA’s announcement said Jackson failed to leave the court in a timely manner. These were Jackson’s fifth and sixth technicals of the season, tying him with Orlando’s Dwight Howard for most in the league.”
