Tough news for the Charlotte Bobcats and forward Tyrus Thomas, who is expected to miss two months due to a tear in his left leg. Per the Charlotte Observer: “Charlotte Bobcats power forward Tyrus Thomas is expected to miss two months after a magnetic resonance imaging revealed a tear of the plantaris muscle in his left leg. Thomas hobbled out of Saturday’s loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. Monday’s MRI revealed the muscle tear near his calf. He also has a second-degree strain of the calf itself. The injury does not require surgery, but has a relatively long recovery period.”
