There’s been a lot of trash talk going on in the Wizards-Raptors series—before, during and after Washington took a 1-0 series lead on Saturday. Most of it has centered around veteran swingman Paul Pierce, who has been hated by Raptors fans since last year’s series against the Nets, when Pierce was a member of Brooklyn’s roster.
In Game 1, Pierce scored 20 points to lead Washington to a 93-86 overtime victory. Afterwards, Raps PG Greivis Vasquez had an interesting take on The Truth. From Brian Windhorst of ESPN via Twitter:
