So this is a strange story. On Tuesday Matt Barnes was fined $25,000 by the NBA for yelling at a Suns fan during the Clippers’ Sunday night game in Phoenix. The official reasoning for the fine is below.
Clippers’ Matt Barnes fined $25k for directing inappropriate language toward a fan in Phoenix Sunday night. Way too much of this from Matt.

This, though, is where things get weird. After receiving the fine, Barnes took to Twitter to share his version of the story. It differs a bit from the one the league is telling.
Another 25k! The part of the story the nba hasn’t told you was my language wasnt directed at a fan, I was talkn to the owner of the Suns…. — Matt Barnes (@Matt_Barnes22) January 27, 2015

I might need to find a second job with all these crazy tecs & fines. I Can see it now LA TIMES.. “Costco worker by day nba player by night”

Probably something the league should look at. Also, the thought of Barnes working at a Costco is pretty funny.
