The San Antonio Spurs started the night against the Atlanta Hawks in a freefall losing 13 of their last 18 games to fall to the 13th seed in the West. Thanks to their freshly minted All-Star, Dejounte Murray, the Spurs not only got a win but a new record in the franchise history book.
Murray became the first Spurs player in franchise history to record 30 points, 15 assists & 10 rebounds in a single game in their dominating 136-121 victory over the Atlanta Hawks. Even more impressive, Murray passed Spurs icon and Hall of Famer David Robinson with his 15th career triple-double, now the most in team history.

Murray had an outstanding game shooting the ball, knocking down 11 of 18 shots from the field, going eight for nine from the free-throw line.
“That’s the thing in this league,” Murray said via NBA.com. “You make shots, you miss shots, and I think tonight we made shots, but we also kept our composure and matured. From the first quarter to the fourth quarter, we didn’t let up. We knew we couldn’t let up against a scoring team like Atlanta. That’s really what it was tonight.”
This historical game comes on the heels of an All-Star game invite for Murray, replacing an injured Draymond Green.
