AND1 Live Tour Returns to Philly on June 8


AND1 was founded in Philly back in ’93. Friday, the famous streetballers will be back home for a free event open to the public. Here’s more:

The AND1 LIVE Tour, formerly known as “The AND1 Mixtape Tour,” will return home to Philadelphia, PA on June 8. AND1 Basketball Company was founded in Philadelphia in 1993. AND1 LIVE has partnered with Donate Life Pennsylvania, a partnership of the state’s two organ procurement organizations and the Pa. Department of Health, to present the AND1 LIVE Streetball Tour in four Pennsylvania cities.

The AND1 LIVE Tour will visit Martin Luther King High School, located at 6100 Stenton Avenue, Philadelphia, PA on Friday, June 8 at 6:30 p.m. with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. AND1 executives and NBA rookies Markieff and Marcus Morris are scheduled to be in attendence.

The AND1 LIVE Tour highlights the talents of some of Streetball’s leading stars. The mission of the tour is to serve the community and promote positive and healthy role models for today’s youth. Through the partnership, Donate Life-PA hopes to raise awareness of organ and tissue donation in the multicultural community as well as the 18-24 age group.
