This season represents the high-flying White’s best chance at making it onto the big stage, and he’s extremely confident that he would take home top honors. We sure hope that you’re listening, Dwyane Wade.

James White is correct.. Dude is the best dunk in the league.. Period

  • Max

    Can DWade pick whoever enters?

  • Hart26

    Better pick him Dwayne…..

  • Dude

I call him “Games Tight.” He and Mac were ABSOLUTE BEASTS on 2k-Nueve. As seen on: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txSgw0PID_A

  • 1vey2ink

I would pick him or Gerald Green as the best dunker in the NBA

  • JAMS0330

what dunks will he do? between the legs, just inside the foul line? two handed from the foul line? #letrossdunk

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Junior-Taylor/100003121138419 Junior Taylor

The only cat I have seen get his entire head down to his neck at rim level.

  • DaRaptor

I think he’s too old now though. Hopefully not. I want to see that between the legs from the free throw line again.

  • Ngoie Kafita

Perhaps through the legs from the foul line? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vR2XFpaoOxo

  • robb

    Lebron?

  • Bravo

    #LETROSSDUNK

  • robb

He’s 30. IDK if he’s as athletic as he was back in 2007. This guy was awesome back then. I mean between the legs from the FT line was insane.

  • Max

    Video of Lebron doing it?

  • RKJ92

umm? say hi to Gerald Green lol

  • RKJ92

Agreed some of his flushes were ridiculous so far

  • Lean62

Yo DWade I dont wanna see Bron in the dunk contest maybe 5 years ago so James White and Gerald Green make that happen

  • The Philosopher

White is older, now. But it only means that, he has lost only a few inches off of his vertical leap. He should still possess the “goods”.
It should be a dunk contest for the ages. If he participates…
One of the great dunkers of all times.

there’s plenty of players that can get their head at or over the rim

  • michael

has he played enough to qualify for it? i mean people have been saying for years teams should just sign up air up there, t-dub, flight, etc just so they could enter dunk comps.
i think white vs green is the best the nba has to offer. green has improved since his last entry, he s the best off of two feet we have, and white is the best off of one foot, other than lebron perhaps.

Please name 5 not including Green or White

are you serious ? don’t be ignorant just cuz you don’t see these guys get up in a game doesn’t mean jack. I don’t even have to go historical to mention guys who could have done it in the past, because there’s more than 5 that can do it easily that are playing right NOW in the L.

To show just how ridiculous it is to believe there isn’t any players that can do it, I’ll tell you of a nobody player who does it in every pre game warmup… go on You Tube and type in “Sean Williams – Kiss The Rim” and then come back on here and tell me all about how it feels to be put into your ignorant ass place brah….

whoops, forgot you could embed YouTube here, so here ya go champ

I assume your reaction to being owned is about the same as Roddy Beaubois in that clip you just saw

  • RedDragon10

He has a say but its not a guarantee.

  • ATL dynamite

I’m hyped to see T. Ross and White going head-to-head. This is going down to be one fun matchup for sure.

  • all g

why you mad when he ask you to name 5?? I wanna know who also so I can see them in the game.

  • http://slamonline.com/ Ben Osborne

    Flight!

  • Klemperer

It would be funny if they put David Lee in to beat White like he did in high school.

  • http://twitter.com/DPisWill DePaul Williams

One of the greatest dunkers I have ever seen! I wont forget his days at Cincy when he was dunking in the AJ XXI, and thats a heavy shoe lol

  • Max

    Gotcha.

  • Max

    LOL

  • Slick Ric

    We believe you james.

  • TSmoove

Idk man I’ll agree with Jordan and Griffin, I don’t think Derozan can do it anymore and I don’t think Paul George can do it. When I think of head at the rim I think of looking down into the rim a la Gerald Green. Kissing the rim is different than looking down into the rim. I believe they are two different concepts. I think Williams barely got there even tho it was just a regular jump. I think Josh Smith in his prime could do it but getting your head ABOVE a 10 foot rim is not an easy feat even for some of the worlds best athletes.

An as for an ignorant comment I think that was unnecessary and no need to entice a response like yours. Make your point and keep it moving. No need to involve emotions on a basketball forum. Its never that serious.

  • TSmoove

And for the record the Junior Taylor also said ‘Entire head to his neck at rim level.’ that is entirely different than kissing the rim. Around 6-9 inches difference at least.

  • http://twitter.com/AdonKay Adnan K

Off course I’m gonna come at you when you’re trying to call me out like I’m some typical goof who knows nothing about the game. I respond this way because I’m not.
Anyway I listed 10 !!!!! that’s 10 guys who do this not even including the one from the video I posted, yet you’re still sitting here nitpicking about “concepts of having your head at the rim”
please bro… just suck it up and thank me for the lesson I bestowed upon ye’

  • http://twitter.com/AdonKay Adnan K

look what Slam has posted on the side scroller here, Gerald Green’s kid brother dunking

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=vIalkTuC8Zo

  • TSmoove

ii man thank you for the lesson. i stand corrected
