‘Medora’ Documentary: Official Trailer (VIDEO)

Opening November 8 in NYC and LA.

Medora, Indiana is a small town of only about 500 people. Drugs are rampant, the town is in shambles and the local high school has the worst basketball team in the state. “Medora” is an in-depth look at the Medora Hornets—a thrilling, underdog basketball story that takes a personal look at a community brought together by an unlikely team. Directed by Davy Rothbart and Andrew Cohn, Medora opens November 8 in New York and Los Angeles, and comes out on November 12 on VOD and iTunes. Were they terrible?

  • Blarmac

Well, they were the only team we ever really tried to score 100 on. And we were 2A.

why do big city people find hillbilly folk interesting? Like MTV had some ufc show. my guess most ppl in big city chasing that bread are devoid of emotion and most country ppl are full of it.

same reason why people go to a zoo

we are desensitized by these exhibitions. what do you think nat’l geographic, the news does to our minds. I’ve seen talks where intellectuals claim we live in a more global and peaceful society now, but the methods of harming humans is insane compared to the past. Chemicals, Electricity, I mean where do people and why do people think of these things. Feelings exist regardless of one’s ability to rationalize the situation. It’s normal now to see poverty, pain, suffering from a picture or video and just sit back. I am sure you heard of the case stubenville and maryville. All these images make us get use to it. We reduce other humans to mere objects of attraction and pleasure. Some cases its okay others definietly not. That’s one reason why i don’t like when fans think they can intrude in a public figures life and not focus on the context.
