D-Will on the Boozer Rumors


The Jazz point guard hears them, but he’s not too worried — at least not publicly: “When it comes to Boozer, though, Williams isn’t certain what to think. The Jazz’s starting power forward can opt of the final season of his current contract by June 30, and on Sunday — in the latest installment of rumors regarding where he might play next season — the New York Post reported Boozer ‘apparently … is telling confidants he’s either going to Detroit to New Jersey’ while the New York Daily News mentioned Toronto as a sign-and-trade possibility. ‘I take the same stance — that a lot of things can happen from now until July, when signings can happen,’ Williams said when asked specifically about the most-recent Boozer talk. ‘I’m not too worried about it. I mean, I’m sure it will work all of itself out,’ he added with broad reference to the Jazz’s offseason, which will include opt-out decisions by Boozer, starting center Mehmet Okur and backup shooting guard Kyle Korver. ‘You know, there’s a lot of options I think the organization can go in — and it’s just too much to worry about at this time.’”

    I would be conflicted about Boozer being on the Raps. On one hand he could be the tough rebounder and consistent inside scorer the Raptors sorely need. On the other hand he got punked by Jason Richardson in a rookie/sophmore game.

    Boozer is garbage. He’ll barely be worth starting in four-five seasons. Millsap is ALREADY a better player. I’m sure Deron already knows all of that.

    Milsap is not better than Boozer, i’m sick of hearing that it’s rubbish. Milsap gets all his points from the man who was the biggest all star and all nba snub Deron. Boozer has a huge variety of post moves which will allow him to score well his whole career

    Booz is staying in Utah. He has no choii\ce but to play great. Its for a contract and he has opened his big mouth to several radio stations in which his agent told him shut his mouth. The dude is a cancer in Utah with the fans and a lot of nba fans in general. It will be an interesting to see how he plays and how all of us Jazz fans will get back on his wagon after his first game with 20 and 10.Jazz are sitting good with this deal and have a great shot in the west!!!! Go Jazz and suck it bro with your anti Jazz comments!!!!!
