Sasha Vujacic vs Lakers Coaches

Sasha is always trying to get out of Phil Jackson’s doghouse, but this incident does him no favors in that regard. From the LA Times: “Lakers Coach Phil Jackson and his assistants aren’t happy with Sasha Vujacic, and because of that, the reserve guard hasn’t been playing. Jackson still wasn’t happy Wednesday night with Vujacic after the guard had a ‘run-in with our coaching staff’ last Friday night in Oklahoma City, Jackson said. In that game Vujacic was upset with Lakers assistant coach Jim Cleamons giving him instructions and told Cleamons not to yell at him. When assistant coach Brian Shaw went over to Vujacic, he told Shaw the same thing. Shaw and Vujacic then exchanged words on the bench during the Lakers’ loss to the Thunder. Vujacic didn’t play in the next two games at Houston and New Orleans. Jackson said Vujacic ‘hasn’t atoned himself for that error.’ When Vujacic does, ‘he’ll be back in good graces,’ Jackson said.”

haven’t seen him in a while. what’s the current length of his hair? is that the problem? should PJ force him to get it cut again? most importantly, is he still with maria sharapova? if so, none of this matters because he shouldn’t have anything to worry about. lakers out in the first round?

  • slamreader01

    who cares? It’s just Sasha

  • riggs

    send him to the d-league

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

    He’s still on their roster?

  • http://Www.twitter. Darksaber

As my uncle used to say when i got on his nerves in my younger years, “ohhhh, shaat up”!

  • socal.s

Sasha is a waste of money….

  • Yesse

They should have got rid off him in the summer anyway and keep Ariza and luckily get Artest.

  • jimjones

we really havin dis conversation? wtf cares?

  • http://fdjsklf.com Jukai

Yesse: Yeah, and then traded Dwight Hoard for DJ Mbengu and Chris Paul for Adam Morrison. Yeahhhhh!!!!

  • http://Badnewzb8ller John cortez

Yeah who cares. Rotation needs to be shortened up anyways i’m fine with just farmar and brown being the only guards coming off the bench.

  • don

yeah. i alWAYS hated that guy. even his hatred for color green is hated. not that i’m a celtic fan.

  • memyselfand9

this bum is getting millions and has a ring.
one more reason to hate the lakers.

    co-sign memyselfand9
its true, their whole bench is just bums who just feed off Kobe playing good and then they get an attitude like they are Gods gift to basketball
but when Kobe plays like crap they are silent, and dont say anything.its like the Cavs, they are all smack talkers with no talent, im looking at you mo williams, but when lebron is off then the dancing and talking stops

But, Phil STILL didn’t do a Flip Saunders.

  • The Philosopher

    And, so didn’t Triano.

  • Abbie

This is crap. Phil has never given Sasha a chance to improve his game. He puts him in for seconds and then pulls him out. They need to stop putting “ball hog” Shannon Brown in and let others play. Didn’t we learn anything from letshannondunk.com? Embarassing.

  • James

    TRADE HIM!!!!!

A Lakers fan like me knows this, we should let Sasha start at point and bring Fisher off the bench. We need Sasha defensive intensity and he still can shoot, heck Fisher is shooting bricks too, but if Sasha can get that fired up at his coaches, he wants to play and that is a good thing. Play the dude and start him, Fisher needs to be benched.

  • Teddy-the-Bear

The Lakers need Fisher to hit 3′s at the end of important games in the playoffs. I agree, he doesn’t need to start.
But start Sasha over him? Interesting…

  • http://fdjsklf.com Jukai

The Seed: as true Laker’s fan, you should know that’ll never happen

  • Abbie

To The Seed – I like your thinking. They do need to change things up a bit and your proposal is an interesting idea. Though I love D-Fish, I think his prime is behind him and its time to get the bench more minutes and more opportunities. I’m a longtime die-hard Laker fan and we need to keep the team growing so we can stay winners!

  • Teddy-The-Bear

    Who’s this Euro again?

  • robb

Sasha is totally useless. Machine my @ss.

Trade Sasha next year if the lakers want to win a ring they should. The bench hasn’t step it up lately and SAsha hasn’t neither trade him or waive him and get better bench players.

    Yo’ Jukai!

    you got sting!

    Lmfao!

    Mbenga for howard!

  • MVPballer

HAHAHA start Sasha over Fisher? That’s just ridiculous. I agree that fisher needs to sit on the bench a bit more, and let Farmar play. But, Derek’s experience and leadership is important to the lakers.

  • RedRum

I love the great basketball minds in this place that think that they know the Lakers team better than Jax and his coaching stuff… I guess you all fly with that lakers and watch their practices, right?

  • Coney Islander

Don’t send him to the D-league, but him on a plane back where he came from! Bumass!

  • The Philosopher

    @RedRum: CB34 thinks he’s Danny Ferry.
