Lil Wayne Is Mad at LeBron James and Dwyane Wade

Weezy hilariously complains to Rolling Stone that LBJ and DWade never show him any love when he attends their games (despite all the money he spends on tickets.): “When Wayne sat court-side at a recent Miami Heat/New Orleans Hornets game he was upset that Lebron James and Dwayne Wade never came over to talk to him. ‘Them ni**as never speak to a ni**a,’ he says. ‘They don’t chuck me the deuce or nothing. Ni**a spent all that money on them fuc*ing tickets … Come holla at me. We sit right by them little bitch-ass ni**as. At least come ask me why I’m not rooting for you.’”

Go f*ck yourself, you little overrated piece of horesh*t. Just ’cause they don’t as*-ra*e you like you got it in prison, don’t catch feelings.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

^You may see that come from @KingJames Twitter account but be dispelled a day later.

  • Yep

oh weezy… for a new orleans boy, you sure don’t like to holla at your own teams, talkin bout minnesota winnin the superbowl last year instead of the saints, and kobe winnin chips instead of chris paul. you don’t deserve love homeboy.

  • LeBron de Con

Looky here, my butt-boy, Eboy is doggin with two messages in my d-fence. Lick em boy

  • http://slamonline.com Ben Osborne

This is the funniest thing I’ve read in 2011.

  • MikeC.

So, when I go see Knicks-Grizz in March, and Amare doesn’t climb up to the cheap seats to give me a fist-bump, should I cry too?

  • http://theghostofroyhobbs.blogspot.com Mo Charlo

He would definitely get love from the Hornets. He’d be easy to notice, since there’s only about a dozen other people there.

  • Larina

sounds like n*gga is a bandwagoner.

  • http://www.slamonline.com/ niQ

That is one wack cover, he looks mad uncomfortable. I’m so glad he won’t ever appear on a SLAM cover…I hope.

  • http://www.slamonline.com/online/category/blogs/farmer-jones/ Ryan Jones

Maybe if he’d made a song about LeBron instead of Kobe? I don’t know why one deluded egomaniac propped up by sycophants would think he’s different from another.
    Did I say that?

  • http://www.slamonline.com/online/category/blogs/farmer-jones/ Ryan Jones

Also, niQ: You really didn’t need to add “I hope” there. SLAM half considered once putting a rapper on our cover, and it wasn’t this one.

  • Ryan D.

Weezy F BabY! Thats so awesome.

  • Marcel Mutoni

someone obviously hacked ryan’s account. that, or the lbj bandwagon just became slightly lighter.

    Angry midgets are funny

I thought it was common knowledge that Ryan jumped off at the July 2010 train stop.

  • HAMMER

Hilarious. Lil wayne not my fav rapper, not even on my radar, but still sum funny s*hit. Haha! Sum people oughtta take their own advice and stop reading 2 much n2 it. Probably the funniest quote so far n ’11

  • T-Money

@ Hammer: he sounds genuinely butt hurt though…

  • http://zenguu Max

    Weezy is mad

  • Jer-Dawg

At least this story was funny as I read it. Why would Lil’ Wayne be mad? It’s in jest. He was in a Lebron 6 ad a couple years ago. I guess it’s just a real funny story about a fan not being shown anything. No love or hate. (bumping No Love ; Eminem f/ Lil’ Wayne) “…you gets no love.”

  • Cizzo

I reaaly don’t pole jock Wanye like the typical picle head fool but I got to cosign for him on this one, Wade and Lebeoch, and Chris Beoch parade around like their fetus smell like flowers….. air them Homo’s out Weezy, The Miami Hurt disgust me!

  • http://slamonline.com Bryan Crawford

Even though I’m sure he thinks he is because he is the better rapper RIGHT NOW, Lil’ Wayne is slowly finding out that he is not as important to these guys as Jay-Z is.

  • http://www.slamonline.com/online/category/blogs/farmer-jones/ Ryan Jones

I’d say I’m more ambiguous at this point. I think the vitriol spewed his way, both last summer and for pretty much every word he’s uttered since, has been a bit ridiculous, but I’m obviously beyond defending the way he’s handled a lot of this.
Anyway, I would’ve called him an egomaniac long before he left Cleveland; all the great ones are, right? As for the sycophants, hey, I’m friendly with a lot of them, and he takes awfully good care of them, so it’s hard to blame them. But facts are facts.

  • 2k champ

forget LBJ and D Wade. If I was Wayne I I would try to shake hands with a real superstar like Erik Dampier

  • http://www.slamonline.com/online/category/blogs/farmer-jones/ Ryan Jones

I’d like to thank Cizzo for bring “Homo’s” into the conversation at 11:42 a.m. Just what we needed. *Ryan is shaking his head in a way that implies pity and resignation*
Also: Really bummed nobody took the bait about which rapper we DID consider putting on our cover…

  • http://www.lacuevacrosscountry.com Slick Nick Da Ruler

    Biggie/Amare – King of NY?

  • HAMMER

@t-money. Reason why I said not 2 read 2 much n2 it was cuz n the grand scheme of things,it doesn’t matter. Besides,we don’t know if wayne was half-joking when he said it. Or tipsy,or high. If we had the soundclip 2 it would help tho no doubt

  • yes.we.did.

What do you mean ask why I’m not rooting for you? Lebron and wade got booed out by their hometowns! Who in the hell are you? What’s next, you gonna be mad that chris bosh got a tape and left you and Jamaica in dreads? Get a life! Or probably 25 to life when t.I. Gets back out

  • kobesBESTfriend

maybe lbj and wade r afraid that if they get all “buddy buddy” with him he’ll start kissing them like he does baby when he greets him

  • T-Money

the sense of entitlement is pretty funny, i must admit – even for a very famous and rich rapper. so players should just scan the front rows and give dap to all the celebs now? lakers games would have to be delayed by at least 15 minutes!

So who was the rapper mr. Jones?

  • http://nba.com GP23

Eminem should be on a SLAM cover one day. Respect for the best rapper in the game today.

  • http://slamonline.com Ben Osborne

@Ryan Jones: love seeing you with all the great comments. Your knowledge of rappers on the covers is a little dated, however. Thankfully, this bullet was dodged, too.

  • http://twitter.com/smk73 SMK73

They were probably too busy talking with Rick Ross. I’d be pissed too, Weezy.

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

Y’all should already know how I feel about Lil’ Wayne, but this was actually kind of funny.
And in what universe is he a better rapper than Jay-Z?
jay-Z’s the only mainstream rapper that I can stomach these days.

  • JTaylor21@yahoo.com

Slow your roll Enigmatic, Jay ain’t all that. Dude’s highly overrated. Name the last good CD Jay dropped since the black album? Go ahead take your time, I’ll wait.

  • http://Philosophervision@blogspot.com The Philosopher

The King to laugh and giggle with Wayne?
    Bad for business…
Michael Jordan and Chamillionaire = The King, and Wayne.
At least Chamillionaire was more humble about his being humiliated by Jordan.

  • vtrobot

@ Ryan Jones: My guess would be Naz, but you have had rappers on the cover. Jewelz, Shaq Fu, etc.

  • snasty10

weezy’s head is getting bigger then his pockets, what happened to humble kid from “The block is hot”?

  • snasty10

ps best rapper ever is nasty nas

And where’s the love for those two? He buys tickets? many people buy tickets. Write a song about those two or something.

Actually, issue one’s cover was originally going to be “Kool Moe Dee’s Krazy Mad Moves”.

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

Since the Black Album? You’re kidding me right? Kingdom Come is better than any album wayne’s ever put out. American Gangster, ditto. Same thing with Blueprint 3.
But see we come from two different schools of thought. I think all this new mainstream rap is pure sh*t. I’d rather bump the 90′s joint.
Illmatic is my favorite album of all time.
So these new cats don’t impress me one bit. And Wayne’s a new cat to me.

  • http://slamonline.com Bryan Crawford

Jay-Z has a better catalogue of music than Wayne, no doubt. But Weezy passed Jay as the best rapper in the game a long time ago.
And I’m not really a fan of either anymore and I was a much bigger an of Jay than Wayne.
And Enigmatic, Wayne has been rapping for about as long as Jay has. He’s just blown up more recently.
Wayne has been spitting fire since he was 9 and couldn’t curse on a record until after he turned 18 because that’s the only way his mom would let him sign a deal.

  • http://slamonline.com Bryan Crawford

^*his mom would sign off on his deal

  • http://Philosophervision@blogspot.com The Philosopher

    Wayne is decent.
    I respect Jay.
Nas is the greatest of all times.

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

Yeah, I know all that Bryan. I remember the old Cash Money, Juvenile “Ha” single days.
But “best rapper in the game” implies that dude could lyrically torch any other rapper out there with a record deal and hell f*cking no, that ain’t happening.
Take away marketing and album sales, and Wayne is a mediocre at best rapper. For real.

  • http://www.redraidersports.com Nicolas Fleming

Yeezy. “Screams from the haters got a nice ring to it. I guess every superhero needs his theme music.”

  • bbubbs

hater for sure, ballers dont need to kiss ur ass, weezy

  • http://www.nyse.com/ JTaylor21

Well in that case take away Jay’s album sales and huge marketing deal and what is left is nothing but a camel who jacks BIG’s rhymes. Carter 2 is better than any BS hover put out, believe that.

  • http://www.twitter.com/TheDiesel Anton

I’m just glad no one mentioned Drake.

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

Better than anything Hov EVER put out? Better than Reasonable Doubt? NO F*CKING WAY.
Jay-Z does bite Biggie a lot, but take away his album sales and marketing, and he’s still a way better lyricist than Wayne could ever hope to be.

  • snasty10

@Enigmatic do you really think american ganster and kingdom come are better albums then the carter 2? in my opinion those albums were garbage BP3 was alright, i was sick of that in a week, im not saying wayne is better then hov but the carter 2 was one sick album, that was wayne in his prime i feel like

  • http://Nba.com GP23

The slim shady lp, marshall mathers lp, eminem show, encore, relapse and recovery were all better albums than waynes or jays. Get the point

  • snasty10

really? encore and relapse were garbage even em said that

  • Luiyo

    NaS The Illmatic & G.O.A.T.!

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

I actually thought Kingdom Come was underrated.
And Carter 2 was aight. But like I said, defferent tastes I guess.
That “I miss my dawgs” from Carter I was dope as hell though. I still bump that when I think about my homies from back home.

  • snasty10

really gp23? cuz encore and relapse were both garbage, em even said that

  • snasty10

i agree with you on differnt tastes for sure, reasonable doubt is still one of my favorites albums of all time, same with with vol.2, but i still couldnt get down on kingdom come and american gangster

  • http://Nba.com GP23

@snasty10 put it this way, eminem is the best rapper in the game today. Even jay, wayne would agree.

  • snasty10

he’s definately top 3 im just saying those 2 albums were garbage

  • snasty10

plus you cant forget the underground like one be lo, brother ali, freeway, talib kweli, so many good mc’s out there

That quote from the drug addict, grown man kissing, fugly midget was pretty funny. I’m sure he meant it in jest. LOL@ anyone reading too far into it. Oh, and the Wayne Jay-Z debate is pointless. Usually silly youngsters prefer Wayne. And Jay is your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper if you’re Wayne stan lol…All jokes aside, music is ALWAYS a matter of personal taste. No way to truly determine who’s best. It’s about who you as an individual prefer to listen to.

  • http://Philosophervision@blogspot.com The Philosopher

Dr. Dre’s “Chronic” in my opinion, is the best rap album of all time. A hip hop masterpiece.

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

In terms of influencing the genre and having dope beats, The Chronic is a classic.
But I can’t say it’s the best album of all time when Dr. Dre was arguably the worst rapper on the album.

  • http://www.rich-imaging.com Dutch Rich

Uhm Bryan at 1:34 pm. Jay is 13 years older than Lil Wayne. Do you remember Hawaian Sophie. That dude’s been rhymin since the late 80′s. I highly doubt Wayne was spitting at age 6.

  • zoom

The Chronic and Chronic 2001 were both awesome albums.

  • http://Philosophervision@blogspot.com The Philosopher

    Shout out to Shyheim.
    Enigmatic:
Agree with Dre being the worst rapper on the album.

  • http://slamonline.com Bryan Crawford

Dutch, Hawaiian Sophie was a feature. That hardly counts as anything commercial.
And if Wayne recorded an album at 9, is it unreasonable to think that he was spitting at 6?
Basically, all I was trying to say is that Jay put out his first commercial album in ’96 and Wayne first appeared commercially in ’97.

  • Yesse

They aren’t prostitutes, Lil Wayne. Besides i don’t think they want to embarras themselves to be seen on camera with one of the worst rappers of all time. I mean, even Vanilla Ice was better.

    Innovation.

  • http://www.need4sheed.com Tarzan Cooper

Enigmatic, you have nothing to worry about. In fact, you just might slap yourself for not listening to him earlier. ….. Start out with his latest album, annihilation of the evil machine, and go from there. Hes had many great albums, solitary confinement, time traveler, book number 7, etc etc.

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

@Teddy – while I don’t think The Chronic is the best album ever, it has to be in the discussion.
On the production side, it was EXTREMELY influential. Growing up, while I knew so many kids that wanted to be rappers, I always wanted to be a producer (kinda still do to this day) and The Chronic was a major reason why.
Also, so many classic tracks on there like “Nothin’ but a G Thang” and “Dre Day”.
Snoop coming out of nowhere, it was pure dopeness.

  • DeeDre

Its funny how everytime someone brings up Nas the only album they refer to as proof is Illmatic. Nas is nice but you can’t even compare him to what Jay has done album wise. Reasonable Doubt, In My Lifetime Vol. 1, Blueprint, The Black Album. All classics and all can be compared to Illmatic. Im not even gonna include Blueprint 3 and 2 because i dont have to. Im sure im forgettin some but Jay’s only bad album in my opinion was Kingdom Come and Life and Times of Sean Carter just wasn’t one of my favorites but its still solid.

That album had “Victory”,”Don’t stop what you’re doin”,”All about the benjamins”,”I’ll be missing you” and of course “Can’t nobody hold me down”. All of those big time hits that he produced. And that’s just 1 album! What about Biggie’s albums? Craig mack’s “Flava in ya ear” remix? List goes on and on enigmatic

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

Hammer – No Way Out was mostly produced by The Hitmen.
Biggie’s first album was mostly produced by Easy Mo Bee, as well as Poke, and Nashiem Nyrick. And Primo had that dope “Unbelievable”
His second album was mostly produced by The Hitmen too. D-Dot, 6 July, Amen-Ra, Nashiem Myrick and all them cats.
I think you’re confusing a producer with Puffy’s role as an executive.
“Flava in ya ear” was produced by Easy Mo Bee.

  • http://thetroyblog.com Teddy-the-Bear

The only good Puffy song was “Dolly My Baby (Remix)” with Supercat, where he did his best Onyx impersonation. That was probably the most awkward verse ever recorded…..

I read that article and I was thinking that he was dumb for that one. Why doesn’t he approach them? Maybe introduce himself. Like grown men do. The best part of the article was him not smashing the chick that came over and then calling for randoms at the studio.

Weezy, Did they asked you to appear at the game for some support? Most likely not, so stop whinning about what you paid for the seats. you wanted to be there and you wanted to be seen. I am sure they saw you, which is another reason why not to greet you. You’re a felon no room for you in their circle.

    Enjoy the seats !

I hate Lil Wayne because of that just because he thinks he deserves attention from basketball players that are going to play basketball. F*** you Wayne I used to have repect for you but you lost it all.

  • TheCelticFan

A lot of comments on here, I’ll say this though. If Lil Wayne was a ball player he would be like a baller with no left hand dribble. His skills really aren’t there – at least when compared to the likes of a Jay-Z, or Redman, or Biggie or Tupac; all of them could express themselves with the use of slang. They didn’t hide behind slang and poor grammer; rather they used it in a masterful way. If any rapper makes the cover of Slam it should be LL – he’s been putting in work since the early days of Def Jam (whether you like or hate him). He’s like the Jason Kidd of hip-hop. @Enigmatic your comment that you gave (@Jan. 19th, 1:27) is the truth and a blessing. Some of the new hip – hop isn’t even all that great – from an artistic point of view. All time five best albums of the 90″s: Illmatic/It was written…either one (NAS), Ready to Die (B.I.G), Enter the Wu-Tang 36 Chambers (Wu-tang), Clan), Me aganst the world (Tupac), The Infmous (Mobb Deep). Honourable mentions would be anything in 90′s by Tribe Called Quest and anything in the 90′s by Dr. Dre. The nerve of Lil Wayne is beyond me.
