Tuesday’s NBA Opening Night doubleheader averaged a 2.8 overnight rating on TNT, up 40% from a 2.0 last year. In particular, Celtics/Cavaliers drew a 3.2 overnight rating, up 52% from a 2.1 for last year’s Opening Night matchup between the same teams … Meanwhile, the Clippers/Lakers nightcap drew a 2.5 overnight rating, up 19% from a 2.1 for Blazers/Lakers last year.”
